DUAL CARRY CONVEYOR DESIGN OVERVIEW

–	Designed to simultaneously convey 1000 tph of ROM on carry strand and 991 tph wet process plant tailings on the return strand, for backfilling into mine.
–	Design length – 7500m
–	Conveyor Belt Width – 1050mm
–	Conveying speed – 3.5m/s
–	Carry Strand Conveying – -300mm Mineral Sands
–	Return Strand Conveying – Wet Mineral Sands Tailings

UNIQUE DESIGN FEATURES

–	Client requirement that loading points for tailings and ROM must both be on top strand of conveyor – to accomplish this the position of the carry and return strands were reversed upstream of the ROM loading points via a unique “Pretzl” design.
–	ROM loading via shiftable conveyors anywhere along tail portion of DCC conveyor.
